a. Pakistani High Altitude Porter (HAP) - Will transport personal equipment weighing up to 20 kg between camps.
b. Nepalese Private Sherpa (personal guide/porter) - Carries up to 20 kg (44 lbs) of your personal kit, climbs with you, melts water, cooks, and will be with you at all times.
c. Personal equipment transportation – Sherpas transport up to 10kg (22 lbs) of personal equipment up and down the mountain between camps.

Your journey to Masherbrum begins at Askole, a lovely village in the heart of Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. The path passes through Skardu, the picturesque town that acts as the seat of the Skardu district and serves as an entrance to this magnificent region. The best time to climb the mountain is during the Pakistani summer months, which last from May to August.
The legendary Baltoro Glacier serves as the key path to the awe-inspiring 8000m Karakoram peaks. This glacial roadway is also a popular path for hikers looking to discover the natural beauty of this intriguing region.
