Holiday Overview
These valleys were once cloaked in quiet, their seclusion unbroken by excursions. These valleys remained hidden from the world, cut off to explorers and climbers during the stormy times of the Pak-India struggle over the Siachen Glacier. "Villagers in the Saltoro and Kondus Valleys no longer see expeditions, these eastern valleys have some of the finest clean granite towers in Baltistan," wrote John Mock, who has tremendous reverence for this precious place. The towers atop these ascents will be there for future climbers." It demonstrates the everlasting fascination of this hidden jewel.
Our organization has been at the forefront of organizing expeditions to this amazing location since its reopening. The Kondus Valley is a patchwork of peaks, each ready to be discovered and conquered by daring climbers. To name a few, the imposing 7742m Saltoro Kangri I, the dominating 7705m Saltoro Kangri II, the royal 7380m Sherpi Kangri, and the steadfast 7100m Sherpi Kangri II. These legend-shrouded peaks provide difficulties and rewards to those who dare to travel their slopes.
Furthermore, the Kondus Valley serves as a portal to a world of discovery, providing easy access to other well-known locations and peaks. Among the prominent names that beautify this hallowed terrain are Link Sar (7041m), K-6 (7281m), K-7 (6934m), Chogolisa I (7668m), and Chogolisa II (7654m).
Our four-week alpine-style climbing program is designed to take you on a journey through a universe of ice and rock pinnacles, the majority of which stand at heights less than 6,000 meters and await names to be engraved into their history. These pinnacles, some of which are accessible from the road, urge you to scale their heights, discover their secrets, and leave your stamp on the Kondus Valley's adventure tradition. It's a voyage into undiscovered territory, where the mountains tell old stories and the spirit of adventure invites you onward.
