Istor-o-Nal Expedition
The Istor-o-Nal Expedition is an adventurous excursion into the heart of the Hindu Kush range, a spectacular mountainous region that includes the beautiful Istor-o-Nal Peak. With an elevation of 7,403 meters (about 24,288 ft), this peak ranks 68th among the world's highest peaks. The name "Istor-o-Nal," which translates to "Horseshoe" in the Chitral District's indigenous language, bears homage to the unusual shape of this powerful mountain. Despite its size, Istor-o-Nal is hidden away, just a few miles from Tirich Mir, the crown jewel of the Hindu Kush Range, which rises to an astonishing height of 7,708 meters (approximately 25,289 ft).

Holiday Overview
The Hindu Kush range, which stretches over 800 km across Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, is a natural marvel. This mountainous beauty reaches across the border, enveloping both Pakistan and Afghanistan, before merging with the Himalayas and Karakoram mountains in Pakistan's Northern Areas. It is a location of amazing natural beauty, with not just the grandeur of its towering peaks but also the charming valleys of Badakhsan and Chitral, which are frequently regarded as some of Pakistan's most beautiful.
The history of mountaineering in the Hindu Kush range was expanded in 1955 when a Princeton Mountaineering Club expedition headed by Pakistani Major Ken Bankwala successfully ascended the heights of Istor-o-Nal. This astounding effort was the second-highest summit ever achieved by Americans at the time, adding a noteworthy chapter to mountaineering history.

The experience promises not just the challenge of the climb but also the reward of experiencing mesmerizing vistas of the world's greatest glaciers and majestic peaks.
