These mountains are also home to the famed snow Leopards, which can be seen if you are lucky.

Holiday Overview

The Pamir Mountains are unique in the region since they connect other ranges in Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, China, and Pakistan. Climbers will also be treated to stunning vistas of glaciers, lakes, steep passes, and breathtaking peaks throughout the trek. Shimshal Valley is a lovely town in Gojal, Gilgit-Baltistan. It is the highest hamlet in Pakistan's Hunza Valley, located around 3,000 metres above sea level. The overall land area is 3,800 km2, and there are around 2,240 dwellings. In ancient times, the Shimshal Pass was the famed historical route of Hunza raiders on trade caravans travelling via the Karakoram Pass between China and India.

The Minglik Sar Expedition begins at 3000 metres in Shimshal Valley and continues to 3365 metres in Wuch Furzeen. The Wuch Furzeen trail leads to Shuijherav (4350m) and subsequently to Shimshal Pass, from which the Minglik Sar can be ascended. The ascent to the summit necessitates more advanced climbing abilities, physical fitness, and ideal weather.
