Holiday Overview
The Karakoram Mountain Range, a geological marvel that runs over Pakistan and China, is home to some of the world's most recognizable peaks, including the legendary K2. This mountain range, which stretches for around 500 kilometers in length and 200 km in width, converges with the Hindukush and Himalaya Mountains at various spots, creating a stunning confluence of natural wonders. The region also has a network of rivers, such as the beautiful Hunza River and the huge Indus River, which play an important part in sculpting the environment.
Under the committed direction of Seiho Kato, the Tokyo University Alpine Club made the first successful climb of Baltoro Kangri's summit in 1963. This remarkable achievement marked the beginning of the region's mountaineering history.
Joining the Baltoro Kangri Expedition means immersing yourself in the splendor of Pakistan's Karakoram Mountains. This voyage provides not only the exhilaration of reaching new heights but also the chance to view the awe-inspiring grandeur of massive mountains and immense glaciers, many of which are among the world's largest.
