a. Pakistani High Altitude Porter (HAP) - Will transport personal equipment weighing up to 20 kg between camps.
b. Nepalese Private Sherpa (personal guide/porter) - Carries up to 20 kg (44 lbs) of your personal kit, climbs with you, melts water, cooks, and will be with you at all times.
c. Personal equipment transportation – Sherpas transport up to 10kg (22 lbs) of personal equipment up and down the mountain between camps.

K12 mountain, the world's 61st highest mountain and Pakistan's 24th highest is located in the Saltoro Muztagh, a Karakoram Mountains sub-range. Within the mystical Siachen Glacier region, this spectacular summit is located along the Line of Control between Pakistan and India. Despite the military presence in the area, daring mountaineers have attempted to conquer this peak, with the first successful ascent taking place in 1971 as part of a Japanese Expedition led by climbers Shinichi Takagi and Tsutomu, whose courage and tenacity continue to inspire.
K12 Peak is located in the Saltoro Muztagh, a sub-range of the Karakorum Mountains that overlooks the Siachen Glacier in Jammu and Kashmir. This subrange is distinguished by four towering peaks, each of which exceeds 7,000 meters in elevation, and serves as the heart of the Karakoram Mountains. The natural wonder that is the Karakoram Mountain Range stretches between Pakistan and China, holding some of the world's most storied peaks, including the famed K2. This range, which is approximately 500 kilometers long and 200 km wide, forms a key link with the Hindukush and Himalaya Mountains at several spots. This region is notable for passing through three different countries: India, Pakistan, and China, adding to its geopolitical significance.
