c. Personal equipment transportation – Sherpas transport up to 10kg (22 lbs) of personal equipment up and down the mountain between camps.

The Kampire Dior Expedition takes travellers deep into the heart of the Karakoram Mountains, presenting them with mesmerising vistas and a hard route that depends on experienced climbers. The expedition route begins in the accessible Passu Village of Gilgit-Baltistan's Upper Hunza area. Passu is a quick two-hour drive from Gilgit, and getting to Gilgit is made simple by a 50-minute flight from Islamabad, Pakistan's capital city.
