Holiday Overview
The lovely Passu Village, located in the gorgeous Gojal Valley of Gilgit-Baltistan, is the nearest village to Beka Brakai Chhok. This valley is known for its breathtaking scenery, and Beka Brakai Chhok proudly stands among the high peaks that decorate this region, which is located to the west of the magnificent Hunza Valley.
Climbers Lydia Bradey and Eberhard Jurgalski made one of the most remarkable ascents of Beka Brakai Chhok in 2007 when they reached the southern summit of the three towers of Beka Brakai Chhok. They were followed by renowned mountaineers Simone Moro and Herve Barmasse, who summited within the next two weeks. This accomplishment was appropriately described by Jurgalski as "a brilliant ascent by two of the world's best."
The Karakorum Mountain Range, a massive mountain range spanning both Pakistan and China, is famous for housing some of the world's most iconic peaks, including the legendary K2 and Gasherbrum. This range, which stretches over 500 kilometers in length and 200 kilometers in width, forms a natural link at various points between the Hindu Kush and Himalayas Mountains.
The Beka Brakai Chhok Expedition promises an enthralling trek across the grandeur of the Karakorum Mountains, with spectacular vistas of the towering grey-backed peaks and massive glaciers, some of which are among the world's largest and highest. The adventure usually begins in Askole, via the Skardu district, which is the closest town to the mountains.
Whether you are an expert mountaineer or an adventurous traveler looking to explore unspoiled landscapes, the Beka Brakai Chhok Expedition guarantees an unforgettable experience for your heart and spirit.
