Holiday Overview
The Karakoram Mountain Range, which spans Pakistan and China and is home to some of the world's most iconic peaks, including the legendary K2 and Gasherbrum, is renowned for its grandeur. This range, which spans 500 kilometres in length and 200 kilometres in width, connects with the Hindu Kush and Himalaya Mountains at several spots.
Those who are brave enough to attempt the Purian Sar Expedition should do so during the summer months, from May to August, when favourable weather conditions prevail, making the ascent easier. The trek begins in Gilgit-Baltistan's Braldo River Valley, which serves as the starting point for this incredible Himalayan adventure.
Purian Sar Peak, surrounded by a vista of peaks varying in height from over 5,000 metres to over 7,000 metres, provides an intriguing playground for mountaineers and environment enthusiasts. Furthermore, the expedition's proximity to some of Asia's most intriguing sites, such as the valleys of Nagar, Haramosh, and Hunza, adds to its attractiveness.
These valleys are ornamented with fast-flowing rivers such as the Hunza River, which eventually joins with the famous Indus River before making its way to the Arabian Sea in Pakistan's south. The Purian Sar Expedition promises an extraordinary exploration of this pristine and awe-inspiring mountainous landscape, making it a once-in-a-lifetime excursion for both adventurers and nature enthusiasts.
