K6 Base Camp Trek
The K6 Base Camp Trek takes adventurers deep into Pakistan's Karakoram Mountains, providing a thrilling trek filled with natural beauty, towering peaks, and a diverse cultural experience.
This adventure revolves around K6, also known as Baltistan Peak, which stands at an amazing 7,281 meters (23,890 ft) and confronts climbers with a hard task. The walk begins in Kande Village, which is located halfway up the Hushe Valley. The trail then takes hikers through a footbridge over the Hushe River and along the north bank of the Nagmah River. This first section of the walk offers hikers amazing views of the Karakoram's majestic peaks.

Day 02: Fly to Skardu, Karakoram
Today's GPS Data Altitude: 2,498 m
Participants will take a beautiful trip from Islamabad airport to Skardu airport this morning. If the clouds cooperate, you will be able to view Nanga Parbat. The day is free after arriving at Skardu. In the event of a flight cancellation, spend the night in Chilas.
Day 03: Enjoy a free day in Skardu
Today's GPS Data Altitude: 2,498 m
After breakfast, the participants will go to Skardu's Kharpocho fort, which is positioned on a mountain. The Kharpocho fort offers a spectacular view of the Indus River and Skardu town. Participants will also have the option of taking a tour of Sadpara Lake, followed by free time in Skardu Bazaar.
During the sightseeing, our personnel will take care of any further government paperwork that is required in Skardu. This can take up to two days. We have contingency days scheduled near the end of the trip in case of delays.
Day 04: Drive to Hushe
In jeeps, we travel down the Indus and Shyok valleys before turning north and ascending the Hushe valley to the roadhead in the little settlement of Hushe.
Day 05: Trek to Saicho
After breakfast, make your way to Shaicho. Today we shall depart from Hushe's final inhabited village. We will rely on our local team to carry our food and equipment and support our Trek for the remainder of our route. We arrive at the lovely Shaicho campsite after a short hike of about 2-3 hours.
Day 06: Trek to Spangsar
Trek to Spansgser after breakfast. Today we will travel via Wali Changkhalil and cross the Charakusa glacier, which offers spectacular views.
Day 07: Trek to K-6 Base Camp
Trek to K-6 Base Camp after breakfast. Descending onto the glacier. Our course follows the ice river's center, sometimes on the moraine and sometimes on snow and ice. We receive our first glimpses of the K-6 spire of Naiza Peak.
Day 08: Free day at Base Camp
Base camps are great places to camp, rest, and explore. You can sit and gaze at K6, and other peaks. Alternatively, you might explore the entire valley of K6
Day 09: Trek back to Saicho
Trek back to Saicho after breakfast. The trek to the campsite takes roughly 3 to 4 hours.
Day 10: Drive from Saicho to Machulu Valley
Duration: 4-6 hours
When we left Saicho, the views of Hushe Valley on both sides were breathtaking as we returned to human civilizations and arrived at Hushe Valley (3000m), where we will remain for lunch. After lunch, we take a 1-2 hour trip down to Machulo Valley. Machulo village is the starting point for the K2 Vista Point hike. This hike is the most affordable, simplest, and shortest way to view all five 8000m peaks in Pakistan. This is a beautiful viewpoint that requires a 2-3 day trip to complete. Between the dwellings in this village sits an Old Mosque. The scenery in the background is breathtaking, with Haldi cones and lush green meadows. The channel walk in Machulo village is a great place for travelers to explore and interact with the locals.
Day 11: Drive to Skardu
Duration: 3-4 hours
We're driving for a few hours today to get to Skardu. You will tour the entire Skardu metropolis here.
Day 12: Fly to Islamabad
Today's GPS Data Altitude: 538 m
On this day, the participants will fly from Skardu Airport to Islamabad Airport. You will have a pleasant time relaxing at the Islamabad Hotel.
Domestic flights are occasionally canceled due to weather conditions. In the event of a flight cancellation, you will spend the night in Raikot or Chilas. A car takes 10 hours.
Day 13: Make-up day for flight cancellations
Today's GPS Data Altitude: 538 m
This day is set aside for any potential delays if the domestic flight does not operate the day before. Our guests will travel from Chilas to Islamabad in the early morning, which could take up to 10 hours. However, if the players make it to Islamabad on the domestic flight, it would be a free day. This time could be spent sightseeing in Islamabad.
Day 14: Fly back to your home country

Our personnel will transport all of our customers to the airport at their scheduled departure times. All of our partner hotels have a 12 p.m. check-out time.
