A notable winter achievement is the "First Winter Climb of any 7000m peak" by a Polish Expedition in 1973, which is the only winter climb of Noshaq mountain to date.
Hanifa Yousifi became the first female climber to complete the Noshaq Peak expedition in 2018, breaking records and achieving new milestones, while Afghanistan celebrated its inaugural expedition to the summit in 2009.
Aside from its mountaineering achievements, the Hindu Kush Range in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province is a spectacular 800-kilometer-long spectacle. It combines seamlessly with the Himalayas and Karakoram peaks as it crosses the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, presenting a landscape of incomparable grandeur.
